History

An Industry Leader Since 1970

Begun as Ohio Valley Plating in 1970, the name was changed to Ohio Valley Graphics in 1974, and with the development of the Hadron process in 1975 to the current name, Hadronics. This was the springboard from our roots in the rotogravure industry into one of the leading suppliers of new and repair parts and services to the offset printing industry. At Hadronics, our continued success is from delivering superior service and quality for our clients in the printing industry, as well as the converting/packaging industry, and the industrial market.

  • Ohio Valley Plating was founded from Intaglio of NY by the Arcuri family

  • Company name was changed to Ohio Valley Graphics

  • The company developed a new process (the Hadron process) to eliminate performance problems with dampening rollers

  • Company name was changed to Hadronics based on the organization’s revolutionary Hadron process and the release of the Hadron II technology

  • Company started to offer repair and refurbishing of cylinders using proprietary chrome-plating and Metalizing technologies, quickly emerging as a market leader

  • Company released its Rilsand (nylon) technology providing an alternative to copper inking rolls

  • Company introduced remanufacturing and repair of roll former boards and noses

  • Hadronics was purchased by Kenneth Green, Michael Green, Fred Harding and Eric Harding

  • Hadronics serviced the top 40 of the “Printing Impressions 400” offset printing companies

  • Ceramic coatings were added to the company’s portfolio along with carbides and other plasma applied coatings

  • Company introduced the Hadron Hard Gold process for ink metering applications

  • Company expanded and developed its cylinder repair business targeting the commercial web industry

  • Company applied the precision technology required in the printing industry to select industrial applications

  • Michael Green purchased 100% ownership in Hadronics

  • Company developed and introduced its on-site cylinder repair services

  • Company purchased the manufacturing technology to produce and market the Hadron SR (self-release) coating technology

  • Company enters into strategic partnership with Nation Coating Systems to develop specialty thermal spray and other coatings and sealers for applications in the Printing and Commercial markets

  • Company acquires new machinery, hires new employees and develops new processes to target the industrial market
